Meet Lift for Life.com Model of the Month, Bobbie Jo Kolb.
Bobbie is the kind of athlete that can be described in one word, DRIVEN!
Her attractive features, confident smile and radiant eyes are assets to say the least, but it is her drive to excel that sets her apart from others.
Bobbie's gifts became apparent at an early age, where she qualified for her state track & field championships at the age of eleven. With cheerleading, track, soccer, softball and dance all commanding her attention, it was a wonder that she had any time for studies. Yet at the age of 16 Bobbie graduated from high school and was on her way to junior college.

Driven
Less than 9 months latter she was competing! Bobbie joined the INBA/ABA and trained with a partner for her first competition in October of 2005. Setting her sights on the INBA/ABA World Championships, she entered both the fitness model and Figure categories, walking away with with first place in Fitness Model and third in Figure.
What an introduction to the sport!
With her first place title in hand, Bobbie already had a new goal, the INBA Natural Universe. For this level of competition, Bobbie decided to focus her preparations to compete in the Fitness Model category only. The well toned, poised confidence of these athletes on stage is deceptive, making the event appear to be less rigorous than it is. It's grueling! This is a highly competitive event that requires months of preparation, unyielding focus, and attention to detail. Bobbie was rewarded with second place in this prestigious event. Bobbies accomplishment is even more impressive when considering that she had given birth not long before.
Look for more of Bobbie Kolb in the future, she's not done setting goals yet.

Bobbie met her husband, Saul Kolb, while working in the emergency room of a local hospital. While engaged, Saul enlisted in the Marines and was quickly off to book camp. They were married shortly after his return.
Bobbies first exposure to bodybuilding and fitness was at a competition with a friend who had gotten involved.
"WOW I was amazed at what I saw...They also had a figure category."
Though others urged Bobbie to compete, she was already ahead of them and didn't need their prodding, she was hooked.
"When we were leaving I was secretly thinking I’ve got to do this".
Two months into her new training program, Bonnie discovered that she was training for two. Bobbie tailored her workouts to accommodate her pregnancy, and daughter Riley a few months later.
