My training philosophy
Train like you mean
it and you want it because you only get out of working out and lifting
weights what you put into it. Nobody can do it for you and you have to
want it to make the progress in the gym.
My diet consists of a
good balance of carbs, protein and fats. The types of foods I eat are
chicken and turkey for my protein. Then for my carbs I will eat
strawberries, grapefruit and cantaloupe. The vegetables I usually eat
are broccoli, asparagus, and green beans. Then for my fats I will eat
almonds, and almond butter.
My role models are
two really good friends of mine that had the biggest influence of my
actually getting up the nerve to get on stage and compete in my first
bodybuilding competition and they are Kevin and Denise (INBF promoters).
Some of the best
advice I could give to somebody who wants to get into weight lifting
and/or bodybuilding is make sure you have a good nutritional plan and
work the muscle not the weight.
