Female Bodybuilding Model of the Month Linda
Billings, an athlete with enough ambition to last a lifetime. Though
Linda is a Nationally ranked
athlete with numerous titles and
competitions under her belt, she is quick to admit that
bodybuilding is
"only part of her life". Successful athletes aren't just successful in
athletics, they are successful in life. In this way, Linda's well
proportioned and toned physique is almost deceptive. Some may even
suggest that such a disciplined athlete must not have a life outside of
the gym. Nothing could be further from the truth.
"While I enjoy competing and love to train, it is a part of my life.
I have other interests that include leading songs every Sunday
and assisting in teaching Bible Studies to residents in a local
nursing home. I also love visiting petting zoos and sponsor animals
through Long Meadow Rescue Ranch of the Humane Society of Missouri."
Rounding off her resume as a complete athlete, Linda also serves in a
support capacity in a Quality Assurance program for the USMC in support
of our troops, calling this "one of my proudest accomplishments".
Through all of her accomplishments and activities, Linda has learned
that the greatest rewards in life come not from what you receive, but
from what you give.
"My fitness goals are to
continue to train and compete for enjoyment, but most of all to help
people become aware that they can greatly enhance their lives in all
areas by embracing a healthy lifestyle." Linda Billings
