Meet Lift for Life.com Model of the Month Russ Yeager. Fitness enthusiast,
bodybuilder, author, webmaster, Russ is motivated and truly wants to make a
difference.
Russ's height, (6 feet, 6 inches), may offer
a competitive advantage on the basketball court where he spent much of his
high school career, but it was bodybuilding and fitness that drove him to
excel. With a Masters degree in accounting, a field typically not associated
with athletes, Russ felt that he needed a physical challenge. He pursued
Karate, earning his Black Belt just prior to graduating from college. Though
he had already accomplished two major goals, Russ wanted more. It was in
2002 that Russ decided to enter the AST Sport Science World Championships, a
three month challenge for the most dramatic physique transformation. Russ
considers this to have been a life changing experience and who could blame
him, he was named Class Champion in the 18 to 30 year old division.
At Lift for Life.com, we know that winning
any class is not a matter of luck or even genetics. You have to be committed
and you have to know what you are doing. Simply being driven will not get
you where you want to go, you must know how to get there as well. This is
the type of knowledge and experience that Russ shares on his website,
www.russyeager.com.
On his site, there is a picture of Russ in a very lean, pre-contest
condition in which his abs truly look shrink wrapped. Its worth a visit just
to see this picture.
Lift for Life is proud to have Russ Yeager as
a Model of the Month and look forward to more from Russ in the future.
